Review of Delta Sky Club Lounge in Seattle

Entrance into the Delta Sky Club Lounge

We were on our way to the American Express Centurion Lounge in Seattle, when we saw the Delta Sky Club Lounge from the corner of our eye.  The glass door entrance with a swooping staircase caught our attention, so we decided to check it out.  The verdict?  I am so glad we opted for the Delta Sky Club Lounge in Seattle.

1. The Decor in the Delta Sky Club Lounge

The first thing I noticed, was the size of this lounge.  This is a brand new lounge that opened in October of 2016.
It has two floors with large windows facing the airport, and has approximately 21,000 square feet of lounge space.  Certain seats offer a magnificent view of Mount Rainier (an even better view than the Space Needle in Seattle). The decor is modern and trendy, with a mix of lounge sofas, high chairs, and individual seats.

  2. Food at the Delta Sky Club Lounge

After I finished snapping a bunch of photos on my phone, I immediately headed to the buffet.  Personally, one of the determining factors of whether a lounge is a hit or miss to me, is the food.  Hence, I was very happy to find that the selection and food was good (by airport lounge standards).  They offered hot food selections such as clam chowder and macaroni and cheese, along with chips, rolls, and various salads.  If you are into sweets, don’t forget to try their maple oatmeal cookie—it was Mmmm delicious!

3. Amenities: Showers and Spa

The Lounge comes with complimentary showers and if you do not mind spending some extra money, there is also a spa on site.

 4. How To Access The Delta Sky Club Lounge

My husband and I got into the Sky Club Lounge for free through our American Express Platinum credit card, with the lounge access as a complimentary benefit that comes with the card.  If you have an American Express Gold card, you can also access the Sky Club Lounge for $29.00.  All cards allow guests at $29 apiece.  Additionally, if you fly business or first class on an international Delta flight, you can access the Sky Club Lounge without any additional charge.

Happy Couple Checking Out the Delta Sky Club Lounge :)
